protect
the
floor
covering
from
fine
dirt,
dust
and
moisture
and
help
prevent
damage
as
a
result.

Discolouration
If
left
in
contact
with
resilient
floor
coverings
for
long
periods.
coloured
rubber
can
cause
discolouration
that
cannot
be
removed.
This
coloured
rubber
is
used
for
rollers
and
supports
under
washing
machines,
refrigerators,
prams,
etc.
and
also
for
car
tyres.
This
type
of
discolouration
does
not
occur
immediately,
and
only
appears
gradually
after
the
chemicals
have
penetrated
the
floor
covering
and
then
been
exposed
to
light.
To
prevent
discolouration
of
this
type,
polyurethane
rollers
or
floor
pads
should
be
used.
Discolour-
ation
can
also
be
caused
by
flowerpots
made
from
terracotta
or
coloured
material.
Suitable
flowerpot
saucers
or
mats
can
prevent
discol-
ouration.

Adhesive
tape
If
adhesive
tape
is
used
on
the
floor
covering,
please
contact
the
manufacturer
in
question
for
details
of
compatibility.

Office
chairs/furniture
When
used
on
resilient
floor
coverings,
office
chairs
on
wheels
must
be
equipped
with
type
W
wheels
according
to
EN
12529;
i.e.
wheels
with
a
soft
covering.
Furniture
should
be
placed
on
soft
pads
such
as
felt
gliders.
In
order
to
avoid
dam-
age
to
the
floor,
the
bearing
surfaces
of
chairs
and
other
furniture
must
be
rounded
without
sharp
edges.
This
should
be
considered
at
the
time
of
purchase
before
using
new
office
chairs
on
wheels
and
normal
chairs.
